A Little About Me

I'm a psychotherapist, writer, and quilter, drawn to the ways we make meaning from our experiences and come to understand ourselves.

Whether I'm sitting with someone in therapy, exploring questions of faith and trauma through writing, or working with fabric and thread, I'm interested in what emerges when we slow down, pay attention, and make room for complexity.

A Life of Many Threads

Originally from Alabama, I've spent much of my adult life finding my way through different places, communities, and ways of understanding the world. I currently live in Belize with my husband and our three teenagers.

Alongside my work as a psychotherapist, I'm a writer and a quilter. My writing explores the intersections of trauma, theology, and lived experience, particularly the ways our experiences shape what we believe about ourselves, others, and God.

Quilting offers a different kind of creative engagement. I love the process of working with fabric and thread, making something slowly and intentionally, and seeing how individual pieces become part of something larger.

Outside of work, I'm usually reading, working on a quilt, or looking for a good coffee shop. I'm drawn to thoughtful conversations, complicated questions, and the beauty of things made by hand.
